Day 334… A slow start to a very happy day! Lorelai slept in this morning and it was a great thing since she was up several times last night with pain. After Mommy got Carter out the door and off to school, it was time to get ready to go visit Lorelai and Carter’s old babysitter, but Mommy’s body had a different plan. Apparently I was more tired than I thought and ended up falling back to sleep with Lorelai until about 11:30! At this point we were well rested and thankful that we actually got some good sleep, but disappointed that we didn’t get our visit with Miss Lilly and baby Douglas. Since we had to be up at Hemby at 1pm to meet up with Troy and his Daddy for our Peach’s Neet Feet delivery, we needed to start getting ready. Lorelai’s legs were hurting bad at this point so mommy loaded her up with some pain meds and out the door we went to the hospital, but not before picking up Troy and Lorelai some Chik-fil-a. Once at the hospital Lorelai was so excited to see Troy, but all the excitement quickly became focused on their hand painted personalized Peach’s Neet Feet Sneakers! The kids LOVED them and even tonight Mommy cannot get Lorelai to take them off! She says “Mommy, I love my Peach’s Neet Feet and I’m never going to take them off, I’m even going to sleep in them forever”! At the Hospital Lorelai and Troy walked around showing off their new kicks and eating up all the attention. We cannot thank Peach’s Neet Feet enough for going above and beyond to make these kids the happiest I have seen in a long time! They felt so special with their secured delivery from a police officer and Lorelai’s delivery from what Lorelai is calling a “real fairy”! After we got home Lorelai had mommy taker her to show Gramma Kate and Mr. Pat her new shoes and then we went to go grocery shopping. Lorelai even showed them off at the store! No joke, she is obsessed!
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH PEACH’S NEET FEET!!
GO TEAM LORELAI!!
