Ramsey was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on February 11th 2009 at the age of 2 1/2. It was obviously a day that forever changed our lives. Hearing those dreadful words are really the most horrible moments of my life. It has been a long, rough rode, but almost exactly three years later, he is doing great! He has less than 3 months of treatment left and his prognosis is good. He is a happy, spunky, sassy, adorable 5 year old. I would never ever choose for my child to have this wretched disease, but we have learned so much and made so many incredible friends along the way. I believe our journey has brought out the best in all of us. We live and love like we should. We have more compassion than ever before and we are more grateful for even the little things than ever before. Thank you Madison for being a special little part of the last few months of this journey. You are a ROCKSTAR!!
